Zachary Quinn Pruitt

Zach Pruitt, age 36, died on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Nashville, TN.
A native of Jackson, TN he was born on September 12, 1982, the son of Roger Pruitt and Deborah Cox. He was a graduate of Northside High School and served in the United States Army in the 655th Transportation Corp as a Specialist from 2003 through 2005, where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He completed his Paramedic training at Jackson State Community College in August of 2018 and was currently pursuing additional studies at Jackson State. He was employed with Medical Center EMS of Jackson, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Butler Pruitt of Humboldt, TN; his children, Ava Mae Pruitt and Rylan Quinn Pruitt of Humboldt, TN his father, Roger Pruitt and wife Sharon of Smyrna, TN; his mother, Deborah Wood and husband Eric of Oakfield, TN; brothers, Curt Pruitt of Jackson, TN, A.J. Pruitt of Smyrna, TN and Trevor Wood of Oakfield, TN; a sister, Patricia Peeples and husband Joel of Florence, AL; father and mother-in-law, David and Becky Butler of Jackson, TN; maternal grandparents, Byron and Gay Cox of Jackson, TN and paternal grandmother Mary Sue Pruitt and the late Leonard Pruitt of Harrison, AR.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Englewood Baptist Church, with CH. (MAJ) Glynn Jones Tennessee State Guard officiating.
Pallbearers for the service will be Curt Pruitt, A.J. Pruitt, Trevor Wood, Kris Cox, Chris Butler, Adam King and Joel Peeples.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lance Cox, Buster Cox, Josh Cox, Shane Cox, Kyle Cox and the members of the local EMS Community.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 4:30 PM until 7:30 PM and on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Englewood Baptist Church.
