Winnie Jane Coleraine

Winnie Jane Coleraine, age 68, passed away on December 31, 2021. She was born on July 21, 1953, the daughter of Albren and Margie Mitchell Copley in Centerville, TN.
Winnie married Marty Coleraine in 1983. Winnie was a devoted and loving wife as well as a loving mother to their two daughters, Gina and Betsy.
After moving to Jackson, TN she attended and graduated from Lambuth College. She began her interior decorating career at Sears doing window treatments, then to Dabney’s Home Furnishings. Later in her career, she went to Ferguson Showroom focusing on lighting.
Winnie enjoyed her working career as well as camping, sewing and reading. She especially enjoyed having her house full of family and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
Winnie is survived by her husband, Marty Coleraine; her daughters, Gina (Matthew) Hall of Trenton, TN and Betsy (Jeff) Coleraine of Jackson TN; her parents, Albren A. and Margie Jane Copley; a brother, Barton (Cathie) Copley; her in-laws, Lulu Hearn, David (Sherry) Coleraine, Leanne Edmond, and Charlie (Lisa) Coleraine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Winnie was a member of the Skyline Church of Christ.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all of Winnie’s caregivers and to all those who expressed their wonderful thoughts and prayers.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Jackson Madison County Humane Society, 3107 Paul Coffman Drive, Jackson, Tennessee 38301, Phone: 731-422-5366 in memory their beloved Winnie.
