Funeral services for William ?Bill? Glen Hearn, 67, will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 15, 2010 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. John Reeves and Rev. Ron Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jerry Jacobs officiating. Mr. Hearn died on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.Bill was born on November 2, 1942 in Bristol, VA, the son of the late Joe H. Hearn, Sr. and Jewell Gilliam Hearn. He was a graduate of North Side High School and was employed with the Tennessee Department of Transportation for thirty eight years as a lab technician. He was a faithful member of North Jackson Baptist Church of Jackson. As a young father he served as a Den Father for his sons? Cub Scout group and was active in the Boy Scouts as an adult leader as well. He also enjoyed photography as a hobby.He is survived by his wife, Frances Smith Hearn of Jackson, TN; his son, Jason A. Hearn of Jackson, TN; a brother, Joe H. Hearn, Jr and his wife Mary Lee of Gun Barrel, TX and a sister, Beverly Redden and husband Herb of Southaven, MS.Pallbearers to serve will be Jerry Gilliam, Roger Gilliam, Ricky Morris, Nicky Kee, Ricky Walker and Gene Morris.The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
