Services for William Murray Brown will be 11AM Monday, January 25, 2010 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors in Jackson, TN. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery with a committal service at 1:00 PM. Bill, served in the US Army paratroopers during the Korean conflict. He had a diverse career, including Aviation management, radio and television broadcasting, locally, nationally, and internationally, retiring after a long association with NASCAR's Motor Racing Network and radio station WNDB in Daytona Beach, FL. He is survived by his wife, Dian Helms Brown, five children, Beth Brown, San Francisco, CA; Robin Brown Poe (Steve), Nashville; Eve Brown Tolbert, St. Ignatius, Montana; Marci Harris, Washington, DC; Ben Harris (Monica), Jackson. Six grandchildren, Aaron Bakula and Luke Bakula of Missoula, Montana, Ross Daniels, Nashville, Sophia Tolbert, St Ignatius, Gavin and Riley Harris, Jackson. One brother, Robert Neil Brown, Jackson, Cousins, Patricia Crook Holmes (Eddy), Susan Crook Bunch (Porter), Lexington, and Winfield Crook (Deena), Middlefork, TN. The family will receive friends from 3PM till 6PM Sunday, January 24, 2010 and from 10AM Monday until time of service at Arrington Funeral Directors.
