Tyler Jean Morganti, 26 passed away peacefully on April 20, 2017 at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital after a long, hard-fought battle with leukemia. He was born on July 31, 1990. Tyler’s huge heart left a big impression on everyone he met. He loved all sports, especially the Tennessee Vols, Indianapolis Colts, Memphis Grizzlies, and St. Louis Cardinals. Tyler enjoyed working out, whether at the gym or at home. One of his favorite weekend hobbies was gamenight with friends, where his competitive side would always shine bright. He was an amazing cook and loved coming up with the tastiest recipes. He had begun studying to become a Physical Therapy Assistant at Jackson State Community College. Tyler attended Englewood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Burns Morganti of Jackson, TN; parents, Jace and Karen Morganti of Jackson, TN; one brother, Austin Morganti of Jackson, TN; maternal grandfather, Henry “Buddy” Williams of Raymond, MS; parents-in-law, Johnny and Belinda Burns of Ramer, TN; one sister-in-law, Amanda McGee and husband Jeremy of Michie, TN; two nieces and one nephew, Abby, Ayden and Adalyn McGee of Michie, TN; many aunts, uncles, and cousins and several very special friends.
Tyler was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Fred “Bear” Morganti, paternal grandmother, Jean Morganti and maternal grandmother, Mary Louise Weber Williams.
SERVICES: A celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson, TN, with burial to follow at Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Arrington Funeral Directors in Jackson, TN and from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the chapel of Englewood Baptist Church.
