Trey Adams, loving husband and father, departed this life at the age of 54 in Jackson, TN. He passed away in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Trey was born on March 2, 1969, in Dallas, TX. He was later adopted by his parents, Peggi and Tracy Homer Adams, II.
Throughout his career at Southeast Connections, Trey dedicated himself to his work with unwavering commitment. His strong work ethic and leadership skills made him an invaluable asset to the company. Colleagues admired his determination and respected his ability to get the job done. Trey's contributions as a supervisor have left a lasting impact on those he worked with and will be fondly remembered.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Trey had diverse interests that brought him joy and enriched his life. His love for outdoors and to create cherished memories with his family. He enjoyed riding his side by sides and exploring the great outdoors. Trey found solace in nature's embrace. Music held a special place in Trey's heart. From Molly Hatchet to Chris Stapleton, he appreciated a wide range of genres and created several stereo systems to share his passion. Trey's appreciation for music reflected his vibrant spirit and passion for life.
Described as highly intelligent by those who knew him best, Trey harbored knowledge on various subjects that always impressed those around him. He possessed an insatiable curiosity that led him to constantly seek out new information and expand his understanding of the world. His intellectual pursuits served as an inspiration to others and highlighted his thirst for knowledge.
Trey is survived by his devoted wife, Stacey Brooks Adams, who was always providing constant love and support throughout their journey together. He is also survived by his loving daughter, Sidney Adams Boals (Russell), who filled his life with joy and laughter. In addition to immediate family members, Trey is also survived by his 14 siblings, Kelli, Kim, Vivian, Keith, Tina, Donna, Karen, Robbie, Sheila, Shannon, Stephanie, Sandy, Rick, Pam, and Randy.
To celebrate his life and pay tribute to the mark he left on this world, visitation services will be held on December 14th at Arrington Funeral Directors and Crematory in Jackson, TN from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location starting at 1:00 PM. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share fond memories of Trey, and seek solace in one another during this difficult time.
Trey Adams will forever be remembered as a dedicated professional, a loving husband and father, and a source of inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace as we carry his memory in our hearts.
