Stephanie Terry gracefully touched the hearts of everyone she encountered until her passing on March 13, 2025, in Corinth, MS. She embodied a pure and loving spirit that radiated warmth and joy to her family and friends. Though Stephanie faced challenges throughout her life as a nonverbal individual with disabilities, she communicated profoundly through her unique love language—touch.
She was born May 2, 1973, to Bill and Judy Terry in Memphis, TN. Her gentle nature was mirrored in her simple pleasures; Stephanie found immense joy in the tactile world around her. She loved to touch things, each gesture a whisper of affection. One of her greatest treasures was her cherished doll, which she adored with unwavering devotion, often spending delightful moments playing with her doll's hair. This act, seemingly simple, carried a depth of connection and warmth that defined her loving personality.
Stephanie was always the baby of the family—a role she embraced with an innocent charm and enchanting presence that brought light into their lives. With her loving and beautiful spirit, she taught those around her the importance of compassion, understanding, and the beauty found in each small moment.
Left to cherish her memory are her father, William "Bill" P. Terry; sisters, Sheila Sites and Stacey Adams; nieces and nephews, Madison, Sidney, Brandon, Kreston, Joseph, and Tyler; tons of amazing caregivers, especially Rhonda; and her special friends in the community that she shared connections with. She was preceded in death by her mom, Judy Harris Terry; sister, Shannon Kimberly Terry; and brother-in-law, Trey Adams.
A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Mausoleum of Highland Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m.
Stephanie Terry leaves behind a cherished legacy of love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will forever be a reminder of the profound impact that pure, unconditional love can have in this world
