Stephan Aristotle Koskinas, 72, died Friday, July 13, 2018, at Jackson Madison County Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Hackensack, NJ to Apostolos and Mary Dervos Koskinas, he was the youngest of four children from a tight-knit Greek Orthodox family. Growing up in Teaneck, NJ, he focused his attention on academics - graduating from Rutgers University and moving onto Columbia University to receive his MBA.
Mr. Koskinas settled in Rochester, NY to raise a family with his former wife Francine (Grimaldi) Koskinas. He had a prolific career in business that spanned from New York to Tennessee – culminating as CEO of several companies. In his later years, Mr. Koskinas retired to a farm in Tennessee, where he enjoyed raising beef cattle, golfing, gardening, animals, the outdoors and spending time with his partner Shelia Holliday Martin.
Mr. Koskinas is survived by his son Gregory Koskinas and daughter-in-law Allison of Hingham, MA; and his daughter, Caroline Brannan and son-in-law Joshua of Sherborn, MA; three sisters, Marge Parlamis of Tenafly, NJ; Irene Athos of St. Petersburg, FL; Kaye Madison of Dumont, NJ; and five grandchildren – William, Emily, Hadley, Nathan and Mackenzie.
SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church 573 N. Highland Avenue, Memphis TN with Father Simon Thomas Officiating.
