Stanley Stump, a dedicated family man and esteemed member of the equestrian community, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the West Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN.

Born on March 22, 1929, in Bucks County, PA, the son of the late Charles and Alma Bryan Stump, Stanley exemplified a life dedicated to service, family, and a passion for American Quarter Horses.

Stanley's career was marked by thirty-four years of dedicated service with American Olean Tile, where he retired as the Jackson Plant Manager. His involvement in the equestrian world included a significant role as a member of the Board of the West Tennessee Quarter Horse Association. This dedication to raising and showing horses enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

A proud veteran, Stanley served in the United States Army, entering service in 1950 and serving in Germany before his discharge in 1952. His military service was an important part of his identity, reflecting his commitment to his country.
