Sheila Young Childress

Sheila Young Childress, 67, passed away Sunday, August 10, 1947 in Palm Beach, FL. She was born July 29, 1947 to Bertha and Robert Young in Dyersburg, TN. Sheila was employed with Delta Airlines and spent many years travelling the world. She spent her entire life loving and caring for others.
She is survived by Ed Ball of Cocoa Beach, FL; her father, Robert Young; a sister, Tammy McCoy; Mary Jo McPhail Brown and Gabriella Brown; Aunts and Uncles, Frankie Lou Crum, Mert Bolton, Jean and Junior Jones and many beloved cousins. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jason and Antonella, Tanya, Nathan and Malinda, Jennifer, Stephani and Steig and great grandchildren, Kyoshi, Luciano, Britton, Brianna, Sebastian, Stefan and Miranda.
Mrs. Childress was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Young and a grandson, Trevor Casey
SERVICES: Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Dan Camp officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers to serve are Grandsons Jason and Nathan, Allen Jones, Jeff Crum, Richard Thompson, Brad Thompson, Rusty Reynolds, Mark Welch and Michael Welch.
The family would like to thank Greg Buck, Peggy Boothe and the Palm Beach Gardens Hospice staff for the compassionate care of Sheila the past four months.
