Funeral services for Sandra Anita DeBerry McCorkle, 67, will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday June 7, 2011 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Steven Callicoatt officiating. Burial will held at 4:00 P.M. in Chester Co. Memory Gardens. Mrs. McCorkle died Saturday June 4, 2011 at Jackson -Madison Co. General Hospital. She was born June 16, 1943 in Benton, KY the daughter of the late Jess and Lois DeBerry.And graduated from Chester Co. High School in 1961 and went on to West Tenn. Business College. She was a member of Browns United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and until her illness was a member of Browns Ruritan Club and the Fox Ridge Homeowners Assoc.She is survived by her husband Jim McCorkle; a son Bill Warren of Pontotoc, MS.; a daughter Pam Schmith of Jackson, TN; a granddaughter Jessica Anne Schmith; a brother Don DeBerry and wife Jackie of Jackson, TN; three sisters Doris Gee, Linda Bingham and husband Charles and Berneda ?Bunny? Harris all of Jackson, TN. and a host of friends and other family. She was preceded in death by her stepfather Mr. Robert Beene. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday June 6, 2011 and Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Arrington Funeral Directors.
