Ronnie was born and raised in Southern California and enjoyed living the California life. He was always hanging with his friends, skateboarding, and going to many, many concerts (with or without a ticket, Ha-ha!). After moving to Tennessee, he gained many new friends, even connecting with other California transplants who happened to live here. All his friends seem to become life-long friends, no matter where they happened to meet. Some of his closest friends referred to him as “Badger” or “Capt”, as their own inside jokes. Ronnie was working as a mechanic at Bumpus Harley Davidson.
His style and personality were eclectic in every way...in shoes, art, architecture, music, and movies. His fascination ranged from old Art Deco and old Hollywood movies to the latest Death Metal and Tarantino-style action.
Ronnie had a way of telling stories like you were there when it happened. He had a way of making everyone laugh. He would literally take the hoodie off his back to keep another warm and dry. He was “Uncle Ronnie” to 9 nephews and 4 nieces, with whom he always gave a big “Arrrrgg” to when he gave them what he called a “pirate hug”.
He is loved, missed, and survived by his mother Donna Crumley; sisters Tami Davis, Heather Pattyson, Sabrina Garmany and Lindy Borkin; cousins (raised like siblings) Ian Allen and Amber Demirci; and cousins Kristie Harston, Vince Allen and Kevin Allen. He is also survived by uncles Ron Allen and Rick Allen; plus many other cousins and extended family.
