Ronnie Ashworth

Funeral services for Ronnie Lee Ashworth, 64, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2011 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Pepper Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens in Ripley, TN with a committal service to be held at 2:00 PM Monday. Mr. Ashworth died on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Bailey Park Community Living Center in Humboldt, TN.Ronnie was born in Brownsville, TN on April 17, 1947, the son of the late George O?Neal and Mary Sue Robeson Ashworth. He was a retired industrial salesman with HCI Supply. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church of Humboldt, TN. He enjoyed a variety of sports including University of Tennessee Football, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed working in his garden.He is survived by his wife, Rosa Jane Ashworth; two sons, Jube Ashworth and his wife Debbie and Kevin Ashworth; a brother, Jimmy Ashworth and his wife Terri and a grandchild, Brooke Bowen and her husband Cal.Pallbearers to serve will be Mike Hunt, Tim Kreppel, Andy DeLoach, Sidney McLeary, Scott Butler and Phil Melton.The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
