Robert Cayce Williams, a cherished father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, in Jackson, TN. He left behind a legacy of love and dedication to his country and his family.
Robert served in the Army Reserves, a chapter of his life that he valued deeply and felt was a significant part of who he was. His military service shaped his character, instilling discipline and a sense of camaraderie that he carried into his civilian life. On the civilian side, Robert pursued careers in law enforcement and security where he also demonstrated the same dedication and excellence.
In addition to his commitment to service, Robert had a passion for various hobbies that brought him joy. He found pleasure in shooting guns, riding motorcycles, and enjoying a game of pool.
His greatest pride, however, was his family. Robert loved his family above all else, a sentiment that echoed through his actions and the time he dedicated to them. He is survived by his children, Cayce Williams-West (Mike) and Clayton Williams (Brittney); adored grandchildren, Maxwell West, Czarley Williams, Rafferty West and Craig Williams; and the mother of his children, Vicki Williams. Each of them has been shaped by his enduring lessons, resilient temperament, and curios spirit.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Craig Allen Williams, a loss that left a mark on his heart. The bond he shared with Craig remained an indelible part of his life and memory.
A graveside service to honor Robert’s life and passing will be held on January 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Liberty Grove Church Cemetery in Jackson, TN. With heartfelt gratitude, family and friends invite all who knew Robert to join them in celebrating a man who embodied family, loyalty, sacrifice, and service.
