Robert W. Aspden

Funeral services for Robbie Aspden, 57, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with David Powell, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Aspden died on Friday, February 3, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Fairfield, VA.Robbie was born in Waterbury, CT on February 26, 1954, the son of the late Thomas and Violet Dial Aspden. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving for six years. He was currently employed as the Vice-President of Design Build for the B and B Designed Systems Company. As well as having a successful business career, Robbie was a published poet and was known for his generosity. He was a member of the Anderson Church of Christ in Anderson, SC, where he was very active as a Sunday school teacher, song leader and speaker. He is survived by his wife, Becky Aspden of Anderson, SC; two daughters, Tasha Moore and husband Steve and Tiffini Forsythe and husband Adam of Jackson, TN; a brother, Stephen Aspden and three grandchildren, Chase Moore, Brock Moore and Colton Moore all of Jackson, TN.
