Memorial services for Robert A. Murphy, 86, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 12, 2012 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Mr. Murphy died on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was born in Somerville, TN on March 28, 1926 the son of the late Wesley and Elizabeth White Murphy.
He is survived by his daughter, Josie Raytheen Murphy Manley; sons, Saint Murphy, Jeremiah Murphy, Joe Louis Murphy and Paul Murphy; a sister, Dorothy Ware all of Jackson, TN; twenty grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Thomas Murphy.
