Robert S. Mccachren

Robert S. McCachren, 90, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his residence in Jackson, TN. He was born in Armagh, PA to the parents of Charles and Laura Smith McCachren. He was a lifelong Mason, member of American Legion, served over 44 years of military service-Merchant Marines, Army, and Civil Service. He was a member of Pinson Baptist Church and loved his church, his family, and serving his country.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Berniece Shaver McCachren of Jackson, TN, one son, Charles (Bonnie) McCachren of Bowling Green, KY, two stepsons, Robert (Regina) Kindelberger of Braselton, GA, and William (Mary)Kindelberger of Nekoosa, WI, three stepdaughters, Linda (John) Blanchard of Universal City, TX, Lisa (Scott) Mantzke of Oswego, IL, and Laura (Arcedes) Mendoza of N. Aurora, IL, several grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Special Friends are Larry and Joyce Wilson and their daughter, Teresa Wilson.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. John Gaters and Larry Wilson officiating.
Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery with full military honors.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at Arrington Funeral Directors.
