Richard A. Stephenson

Richard A. Stephenson died on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, at the age of 67.
He was born in Cook County, Illinois on October 4, 1954, the son of the late Claude Garland and Martha Lura Workman Stephenson. He and his family were staples of the Browns Community for many years. He was retired from Procter and Gamble as a technician. Richard and his wife were members of Browns Church.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Nancy Ann McLeary Stephenson of Jackson, TN; his daughter, Laura Stephenson of Santee, CA; his two sons, Wesley Stephenson of Trenton, TN and Phillip Stephenson and his wife Sarah of Arden, NC; his brother, Ronnie Stephenson and his wife Cathy of Dyer, TN and a grandchild, Declan Stephenson.
He was preceded in death by his sister Judy Barron.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2022, at Browns Church, with Glenn Miller officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Monday prior to the service from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the church.
