Richard E. "Dickie" Davidson

Richard E. “Dickie” Davidson, age 70, died on Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Alamo Nursing Home in Alamo, TN.
Dickie was born in Jackson, TN on October 30, 1946 the son of Raymond Eugene and Dorothye Matthews Davidson. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. He was retired as a Dispensing Optician with over forty years of service. He was a member of the Tennessee Dispensing Opticians Association. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time camping and fishing. He loved music and enjoyed singing as much as he could. He was previously a member of Northside United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, Richard Lloyd Davidson and wife Jennifer of Medina, TN and his daughter Cara Roberson and husband John of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Lesa Vernon and husband Justin of Bartlett and Dottie Mason and husband Phil of Nashville, TN and four grandchildren, Richard Leven Ward, Anna Grace Ward, Pyke Davidson and Paisley Davidson.
SERVICES: It was Dickie’s request that he be cremated and that there be no service.
