Rev. Wayne C. Dorris A Celebration of Life service for Rev. Wayne C. Dorris 74, will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Arrington Funeral Directors with Bro. Steve McKown officiating. Burial will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday June 30, 2011 at Robertson Co. Memorial Gardens in Springfield, TN. Rev. Dorris died Sunday June 26, 2011 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. He was born October 21, 1936 in Springfield, TN the son of the late James and Ethyl Dorris. He was a Minister of Music for over 45 years starting in Springfield, TN and finishing Jackson, TNHe is survived by his wife Mae Dorris; a son David Dorris and wife Lynn of Maryville, TN; a daughter Julie Council and husband Terry of Troy, TN; five grandchildren Tommy Council (Sarah), Mandi Ortega (George), Beth Tolley (Jonathan), Jonathan Dorris, Joseph Dorris and five great grandchildren.
