Phyllis Turner Smith

Phyllis Turner Smith, beloved, mother, grandmother, and sister, lost her courageous battle with cancer on June 16, 2014 at her home in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 78. Phyllis was born and raised in East Point, Georgia, the oldest of triplets. She was retired from Parks-Belk in Jackson, where she managed the shoe department for many years, She dearly loved her family and friends, and always thought of others before herself.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon R. Smith, in 2010. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Turner and Patricia West; daughter, Donna Schulz (John); two sons, Carey Smith (Tammie) and Scott Smith; grandchildren, Tony Lupino (Kelly); Billy Lupino (Callie); Cara Stegall (Blake); Andrew Smith (Bri) Ryan and Cole Smith; Justin Betts (Tiffany); and Brian Betts; great grandsons, Zander Smith and Kian Lupino and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICE: A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors. A funeral service and interment will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Ridgecrest Cemetery with Jeremy Brown officiating.
