Pearl Daniel

Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Daniel will be held on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Dr. Matt Tomlin and Rev. Ken Skelton officiating. Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery in Henderson, Co. Mrs. Daniel passed away November 11, 2010 at her home. She was born in Jackson, TN on August 14, 1915, the daughter of the late John A. Gurley and Amanda Pillow Gurley. Mrs. Daniel was educated in the City and County schools of Jackson, TN. She was a member of Wards Grove Baptist Church for eighty-one years. Besides her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her beloved and very caring step-father, Robert Lee Gurley and two very dear brothers, Johnnie A. Gurley and Lucian Gurley, one precious sister, Rena Horner and daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Daniel. She is survived by her devoted husband of seventy-eight years, Luther Daniel, two very caring sons, Johnnie Daniel and Robert Daniel and wife Linda, four grandchildren, Vickie Whittington and husband David, Kimberly Van Winkle, Jeff Daniel and wife Mary Beth, Kelli Beiter and husband Randy; five great grandchildren, Chase Matthew Daniel, Anna Beth Daniel, Gracyn Brooke Van Winkle, Leven Rhea Van Winkle and Bryan Alan Beiter. Pallbearers to serve will be Bennett Walker, Jim Darby, Gene Blurton, O?Neal Henley, Bud Sikes and John Wayne Williams. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
