Rev. Patrick Henry

Patrick Leon Henry, 84, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2015 at Jackson- Madison Count General Hospital. He was born December 4, 1931 in Mobile, AL, the son of the late Patrick Henry and Nina Robinson Henry.
He is survived by a son, Paul Henry of Humboldt, TN; a daughter, Dr. Melanie Hoppers and husband Dr. Jimmy Hoppers of Jackson, TN; a sister, Gloria Dean and husband George of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Hoppers, Brittiani Gregg, Brian Hoppers, Leslianne Henry, Katie Hoppers, Patrick Hoppers, and Sara Hoppers.
Patrick Henry was a Baptist minister, a graduate of Bob Jones University and New Orleans Seminary, and pastored congregations in Florida, Alabama, Illinois, and Tennessee. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a proud member of the 25th Infantry Division Tropic Lightning. Brother Henry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
SERVICES: Funeral services for Rev. Henry will be held 2:00 PM Friday December 11, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Humboldt, TN. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
