Patricia Ann Carter DeLassus

Patricia Ann Carter DeLassus, age 87, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Northbrooke Healthcare and Rehab.

She was born in Mobile, AL on May 29, 1937, to the late James Henry Carter and Edna Clara Wragg Carter. She was raised in Mobile, AL graduating from Murphy High School in 1955, where she was inducted into the National Honor Society during her senior year as well as working in the school's bookkeeping office. On June 21, 1958, she married the love of her life Bruce Caldon DeLassus and this was a union that lasted for fifty-nine years before his death in 2017.

Pat was retired from Edward Jones Investments as a Branch Officer Administrator a position that showcased her accounting abilities. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and for many years a member of the Faith Sunday school class.

She is survived by her two sons, David DeLassus and wife Vickie of Denver, CO and Mark DeLassus and wife Carol of Medina, TN: her grandchildren Christopher Bryant of Jackson, TN, Paul and Matthew DeLassus of Denver, CO, Ryleigh and Hailey DeLassus of Medina, TN, great-grandchild, Harper DeLassus of Denver, CO and a sister, Sondra Carter Thomas.

Along with her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce DeLassus, her beloved daughter, Sherry Lynn Delassus Bryant at the age of 35 on November 30, 1994, and her sister Joy Rouse in March of 2023.

Pat was a dedicated "Alabama Fan" along with her late husband Bruce. This was a family trait that has been passed down to her children and grandchildren

SERVICES: A funeral service to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Mr. Mark White officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will gather on Sunday, February 16, 2025, beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continuing until the service time of 2:00 p.m.
