Oran Wayne Hanks

Oran “Wayne” Hanks, 84, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Regency Retirement Village in Jackson, TN. He was born in Yorkville, TN to the parents of Howard and Vadie White Hanks. He was retired as a Supervisor for Browns Shoes Company and served in Tennessee Army National Guard. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and loved attending auctions, repairing things using his mechanically inclined talents.
He is survived by one son, Mike and Dorothy Hanks of Humboldt, TN and one daughter, Denise and Wayne Teal of Jackson, TN; one brother, Hollis Hanks of Yorkville, TN, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Edith Bradford; and one daughter, Debbie Luckett.
SERVICES: The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. with a funeral service following at 1:00 P.M. at Arrington Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in the Yorkville City Cemetery.
