Nancy Holmes Owen

Nancy Holmes Owen died peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at her Jackson, Tennessee residence.

She was born on December 20, 1941, the daughter of the late Lloyd N. and Grace Simpson Holmes.  She was married to Billy T. Owen who preceded her in death in 2014.  Nancy spent her working career as a cashier with West Tennessee Rural Electric.

She is survived by her son, David Owen of Jackson, TN and three grandchildren, Kayla Owen, Hope Owen, and Chance Owen.

Along with her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by her brothers, Cecil Holmes, and Jere Holmes.

SERVICES:  A graveside service for Nancy will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Browns Cemetery with Dr. Philip Jett and Dr. Linn Stranak officiating.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, beginning at 12:00 p.m. and continuing until 1:30 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Directors.
