Michael Hoberg Burrall, 75, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 after surgery in Jackson Tennessee. He was born June 27, 1939 and raised in Green Bay, the son of the late Frederic and Arvilla (Hoberg) Burrall. Mike spent the early years of his career in the family business, Jos F Rothe Foundry Co, which later became Bay Engineered Castings, followed by a long career in the packaging industry: which took him to South Carolina and Tennessee . He was a longtime member and past president of Oneida Golf & Country Club. He was also a board member of Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and active in many local organizations including the Boys & Girls Club, De Pere Rotary Club, and Ducks Unlimited. Mike was a Deacon of Duncan First Baptist Church, Duncan S. C.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Burrall; three daughters, Sara Louise Burrall of Green Bay, Tiffany Michelle Seelen (Patrick) of Plymouth, MN and Allison Valerie Neely (Sean) of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Frederic Hoberg Burrall of Marietta, GA and Mark Anthony Burrall (Penny) of Cedarburg, WI; a sister, A. Lynn Pirner (Donald) of Minneapolis, MN; four grandchildren, Deacon and Dexter Seelen, Waylon and Adler Neely; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and “adopted” son and grandson, Ted Mansell (Melissa)of Columbus, OH. and Mason Rawls of Nashville, Tn. Mike loved life. He loved his work and the many close friendships developed over the years. He was a loyal Sales and Marketing Agent for Palletsource, Inc. After traveling extensively for his work he, and wife Connie, settled in Jackson, Tn. As a member of Ararat Baptist Church he was active in many ministries and enjoyed a special fellowship with the men and families of the church. Mike cherished his family. He loved, He was loved, and He is loved. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to: Friends of the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary 1660 East Shore Drive Green Bay, WI 54302. SERVICES: Funeral service for Mr. Burrall will be held 1:00 PM Friday March 27, 2015 at Ararat Baptist Church with Rev. Mark McSwaim and Rev. J.V. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Ararat Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday March 27, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Ararat Baptist Church.
