Maurine Luther Weir

Maurine Luther Weir, age 95, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Forest Cove Nursing Center after an extended illness.
Maurine was born in Camden, TN on February 26, 1923, the daughter of the late Frank and Maude Greer Luther. She was preceded in death by her husband Tillman Weir, Sr. in February 1980. She was a member of the former Bemis Pentecostal Church. She was a retired Weaver with the Bemis Mill with 42 years of service and was a member of the 20-year Club. Maurine was a wonderful cook and provided many delicious meals for family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Tillman Weir, Jr and wife Patty of Jackson, TN and Ron Weir and wife Olla of Germantown, TN; along with four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Pastor Bill Luther officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service.
