Mary Timby

Mary Agnes Timby, 81, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at her residence. She was born on May 4, 1930 in Buffalo, NY to Thomas and Bessie (Griffin) Murray.Mrs. Timby is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Timby; sons, Father Bryan Timby of Memphis, TN and Paul Timby and wife Terrie of Jackson, TN; daughters, Joanne Drumright and husband David of Brentwood, TN and Karen Grace of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren and six great-grandsons. Mrs. Timby was a communicant of St. Mary?s Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Legion of Mary, the Memphis Tole Painters, and the Peace by Piece Quilt Guild of Jackson.Grandchildren serving as pallbearers will be Michael Yates, Stephen Grace, Amy Grace, Mark Grace, Matthew Drumright, Katherine Drumright and Brendon Timby.She was preceded in death by siblings Felix Murray, Thomas Murray, John Murray and Ann (Murray) Churchill.The family will receive friends Monday, August 8, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM with a brief Prayer Vigil at 7:30 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors and on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at St. Mary?s Catholic Church.A funeral mass for Mrs. Timby will be held at 11:30 AM immediately following visitation on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Father Bryan Timby and Monsignor Al Kirk officiating.
