Mary Gabellini

A funeral mass for Mary Gabellini, 98, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at St. Mary?s Catholic Church with Monsignor Rev. Thomas Kirk, officiating. Mrs. Gabellini died on Saturday February 27, 2010 at the Jackson Oaks Retirement Center; her residence since 1998. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of services.Mary was born in the Virgin Islands on February 3, 1912 the daughter of the late Joe and Josephine Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Gabellini of Chicago. She was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company. She was a communicant of St. Mary?s Catholic Church of Jackson, TN. She was active for years at the Oaks playing games doing crafts, baking, shopping and enjoying her many friends.She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Jarvis of Jackson, TN; a son, Thomas J. Pruter and his wife Nanci of Pensacola, FL; nine grandchildren, Denise Jarvis, Lisa Jarvis, Stephanie (Jarvis) Delgado, Katie (Pruter) Bodden, Thomas Pruter, John Pruter, Mary Pruter, Dena Vigil and Travis Pruter and many great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by a son David James Pruter in 2005.The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
