Mark R. Johnston, 55, died early Saturday morning July 2, 2016 at Trenton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, TN.
He was born January 11, 1961 in Oak Ridge, TN, the son of the late Bob and Mattie Rodgers Johnston. He was a construction manager for International Power for the past 10 years working on projects all over the world, including Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.
He was a member of North Jackson Church of Christ and enjoyed golf, fishing, and deep sea diving in his leisure time.
Mark is survived by his wife Paula Parnell Johnston of Jackson, TN, one son Austin Chance Johnston, of Jackson, TN, one brother Jim Johnston and wife Mary Helen of Corpus Christie, TX, two nephews, Ryan Johnston and partner Kelly Munguina, Kevin Johnston and wife Megan, 1 grandniece Vivian Johnston, and his wonderful in-laws, Jack and Faye Parnell of Trenton, TN. He was preceded in death by his daughter Carmen Lowe and granddaughter Alexis Lowe, his parents, grandparents, Anna Lee and Everett Rodgers and Floyd Brown and grandmother Rebecca Johnston.
SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Wednesday July, 6, 2016 at 11:00AM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Minister David Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Nance Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at the funeral home.
The family has requested memorial contributions be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
