Lourdes Arjonilla Graham, a beloved member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church community, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023, in Jackson, TN. She was born on September 30, 1959, in Tijuana, Mexico to the late José María Arjonilla Bonetti and Yolanda Vila Arjonilla. Lourdes was a loving wife to George Graham and a devoted mother to her children Erik Graham, Ryan Graham, and Jessica Berlanga. She also had a special place in her heart for her adopted sons Hunter Graham and Peyton Graham. Lourdes cherished her family and adored spending time with her grandchildren Isabella, Landon, Sofia, Ian, and eagerly anticipated the arrival of another grandchild.
Lourdes led a vibrant life dedicated to service and faith. She worked as a secretary for St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she found immense joy in being part of such a loving church community. Her involvement with the church went beyond her career, as she actively participated in various church functions and organizations. Lourdes was particularly proud of being a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church Choir and the Legion of Mary.
Her warm personality touched the lives of many around her. Lourdes was known for her genuine care for others and always lent a helping hand whenever there was need within the church or community activities. Her kindheartedness knew no bounds.
Beyond her dedication to others, Lourdes had diverse interests and hobbies that brought joy to her life. She found solace in activities such as scrapbooking and cross-stitching, allowing her creative spirit to shine through. Sports played an essential role in Lourdes' life as well; she supported both the UT Vols and held an unwavering love for her Notre Dame fighting Irish.
Among all her accomplishments and passions, family remained at the forefront of Lourdes' heart. She deeply cared for each member of her family and ensured that they always felt loved and cherished. Lourdes' devotion to her faith and the church community was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Lourdes's memory will forever be treasured by her husband George, her children, Erik, Ryan (Candice), and Jessica, as well as her adopted sons Hunter and Peyton. She is also survived by her brothers José Alberto Arjonilla Vila and Jorgé Andre Arjonilla Villa. Lourdes will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Isabella, Landon, Sofia, Ian, and the grandchild on the way.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2023. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2023, and Monday, July 24, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. A roseary will be held Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. following visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School Angel Relief Fund at 1665 U.S. 45 Bypass, Jackson, TN 38305.
