Lorene Kemp WeaverFuneral services for Lorene Kemp Weaver, 83, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Humboldt First United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Jackie Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Mrs. Weaver died on Friday, October 23, 2009 at her Jackson residence. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Weaver was born in Jackson, TN on June 11, 1926 the daughter of the late Madison Irvin and Arkansas Burnside Kemp. She was married to Clarence Paul Weaver who preceded her in death in 1951. She was retired as a nursing assistant. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed crocheting, reading and listening to gospel music. She attended Humboldt First United Pentecostal Church when her health permitted.She is survived by three daughters, Cecilia Washburn of Jackson, Karen McCarver and husband George of Mercer, TN and Sandra Weaver of Jackson; a son, Marvin Weaver and wife Ruthie of Enville, TN; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Weaver of Medina, TN; a special sister, James Evelyn Cagle of Jackson and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Larry Weaver, three brothers and five sisters.Pallbearers to serve will be grandsons.The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors and on Monday, October 26, 2009 from 11:00 AM until the service time of 2:00 PM at Humboldt First United Pentecostal Church.
