Keith A. Moore

December 4, 1981 — November 1, 2024

Keith Allen Moore, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 1, 2024, in Raytown, MO.

Born on December 4, 1981, in Springfield, MO, Keith lived a life dedicated to his passions and the people he loved. He attended North Side High School in Jackson, TN where he played saxophone in the jazz band. He received his bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Union University, and worked in that field for many years, beginning with the Jackson Diamond Jaxx and the Memphis Redbirds baseball teams. Keith later headed south to Laredo, TX where he worked several years for the Laredo Bucks hockey team. In Laredo, Keith built strong connections with many friends and community members with whom he remained closely connected over the years.

Keith most recently lived in the Kansas City area where he worked as an Account Development Specialist at Boston Heart and covered the Northwest United States. He was an integral part of the team, and his coworkers and clients enjoyed his fun personality and loved working with him.

Keith was passionate about all sports, especially his favorite teams, the University of Tennessee Vols and the Tennessee Titans. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was well known for loving his mom’s home cooking. As the “baby” of the family, Keith was beloved by his grandparents, his Uncle Brad, and many extended family members.

Keith was creative, intelligent, funny and quick-witted. He was an avid workout and fitness enthusiast and had a close community of power lifting friends. Keith’s other hobbies included researching his family’s ancestry and caring for his pups. He loved all animals and rescued several dogs during his lifetime.

Keith's sudden departure has left an immense void in the lives of those who cherished him. He is survived by his parents, Greg and Barbara Moore; his sister, Cindy Minnis, and her husband Gary; his nephew, Coleman Minnis; his niece, Carleigh Minnis; his partner, Kassandra Hernandez, and his son, Dante Teniente (15). Each of these individuals held a special place in Keith's heart, and his love for them was evident to all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to commemorate Keith's life and legacy during a Memorial Gathering on November 11, 2024, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until 2:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Dr. Todd Brady officiating.

The family is requesting that memorial donations be directed the Jackson Animal Care Facility, 23 Pinnacle Drive, Jackson, TN 38305.

As we remember Keith, we reflect on the joy he brought into our lives and the lasting impact he made on everyone he encountered. His memory will continue to be a source of inspiration and love for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
