Judy Gayle Hale, a beloved figure in the lives of those who knew her, passed away peacefully at her residence in Jackson, Tennessee, on March 17, 2025, at the age of seventy. She was surrounded by the love of her family, including her devoted husband, Richard R. Hale, Sr., with whom she shared fifty-one wonderful years of marriage.
Born on January 26, 1955, in Henderson, Tennessee, Judy's journey through life was marked by dedication and service. A proud graduate of West Tennessee Business College, she devoted over twenty years of her career to the Jackson Madison County School System as a bookkeeper. Her commitment to her work and the students she served reflected her generous spirit and steadfast character.
Judy was not only known for her professional contributions but also for her vibrant participation in her church community. She played the saxophone in the church orchestra at Faith Tabernacle of Jackson and served as a Sunday school teacher, sharing her faith and guiding others on their spiritual journeys. Her passion for music and teaching left a lasting impact on the congregation and enriched the lives of many.
In her leisure time, Judy enjoyed traveling with her husband, exploring new destinations, and creating cherished memories together. She found great joy in reading and delving into her Bible, reflecting her desire for knowledge and spiritual growth.
Judy's legacy will live on through her family, which includes her husband, Ricky Hale, her son, Richard R. Hale, Jr. and his wife, Stacy, as well as her daughter, Amy Hale and her companion Chad Odle. Each of them carries forward the values and love she instilled in them.
SERVICES: A service to celebrate Judy's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025, in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Bro. David Eliff and Pastor Donald Lance officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The community is invited to celebrate Judy's life and contributions in a visitation with family and Friends on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until 7:00 p.m.
Those serving as pallbearers for her service will be Andrew Lai, Barry Hodge, Greg Hodge, Mike Hale, Wesley Eliff, and Tony Dotson.
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the Jackson Animal Care Center, 23 Pinnacle Drive, Jackson, TN 38301.
Judy G. Hale will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering faith. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
