John L. Hogins

John L. Hogins, age 70, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Milan, TN, John was born on November 28, 1945, the son of the late Reese and Annie Mount Hogins. He was baptized into Christ on August 20, 2014 and was a member of Love & Truth Church of Jackson. John started his designer/decorator career with Sears as a young man and was the owner of John Hogins Interiors for over thirty years. He had a love for all animals especially his Tennessee Walking horses. He was an avid volunteer with Camp Bluebird for many years.
He is survived by his nieces, Tiffany Thornberry of Nashville, TN and Whitney Polizzi of Washington; a nephew, Justin McClintock of Jackson, TN and his companion, Howard Barnett of Jackson, TN.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 28, 2015 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with burial to follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Memorials contributions are requested to be directed to Camp Bluebird c/o West Tennessee Healthcare, 620 Skyline Dr. Jackson, TN 38305.
