John Bradley Hardin

John Bradley Hardin, 69, died September 6, 2018 at his residence with his family and friends by his side.

He was born the son of Allen and Elsie Bradley Hardin on January 29, 1949 in Blytheville, AR. He attended Blytheville Public Schools and Arkansas State University receiving a bachelor’s Degree in business Administration. John spent a great deal of his career as Corporate HR Manager for Bruce Hardwood and Armstrong Flooring.

He dearly loved his time with the Boy Scouts of America. He received his Eagle Scout, Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow and Award of Merit. He has devoted many hours mentoring other Scouts and helping them to succeed in scouting.

John is survived by his wife Sandy Hardin of Jackson, TN, two daughters Sarah Wieder (Chris) of Henrico, VA, Elizabeth Brown (John) of Jackson, TN, three grandchildren, Jacob Hughes, Caleb and Lauren Brown. He preceded in death by brother Gary Hardin and sister Judy Hardin.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Englewood Baptist Church with Dr. Philip Jett officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:30 until service time at 3:00PM at the church.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers the memorial contributions be directed to Boy Scout troop 44, Paul Kilzer, 2407 E. Main, Humboldt, TN 38343 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
