Jerry Dallas Sikes

Jerry Dallas Sikes, age 64, died on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his Jackson residence.
A native of Jackson, TN, he was born on November 10, 1951, the son of the late Dallas S. and Marie Thurmond Sikes. He was formerly employed as an Extruder with Swift Adhesives/Forbo for over thirty years. He was affectionately known as “Mr. Fix-it” to many in the community as he assisted them with home repairs. He loved his wife, girls and grandchildren. He was very special to his family and his many friends. He loved to grill and was quite good at it.
He is survived by his daughters, Shelia Sites of Nashville, TN, Stacey Adams (Trey), Shannon Terry and Stephanie Terry all of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Brenda Hooten (Charlie) of Nashville, TN and Rita Kirk (Ricky) of Jackson, TN; and six grandchildren, Brandon Lewis, Joseph Sites, Kreston Sites, Tyler Terry, Madison Sites and Sidney Adams.
He was preceded by his wife, Judy Sikes in November 2015 and a brother, Donald Sikes.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2016 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum of Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
