Mr. Jerry B. McKay, 70 died on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at his Jackson residence.
Jerry was born on January 21, 1943 in Morrison, TN, the son of the late Lela Turner. He was married to the former Dorothy June Boyd and was a salesman retiring in 2011 from Schwan’s Frozen Foods. He was a member of North Jackson Church Christ.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother L.H. McKay of Morrison, TN and a sister, Sue Powell of Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy McKay of Jackson, TN; sons, Douglas J. McKay and wife Rose of Henderson, TN and Jeremy L. McKay and wife Angie of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, Brandon McKay and wife Brandi and Zachary McKay of Henderson, TN, Drake McKay, Luke McKay and Landon McKay of Jackson, TN; a sister-in-law, Linda Keel and four brother-in-laws, Bobby Keel, Wayne Keel, Carl Keel and Jerry Keel all of McMinnville, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 4, 2013 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Arrington Funeral Directors 148 W. University Parkway, 731/668-1111 www.arringtonfuneralgroup.com .
