Jeffrey Todd Evans

Jeffrey Todd Evans passed away peacefully on August 12, 2023, at the Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital.

He was born on January 19, 1968, in Baton Rouge, LA., the son of Charley and Wanda Lane Foster Evans.

Jeffrey led a fulfilling career as a Claims Adjuster for National General Insurance. His dedication and commitment to his work were evident in every project he undertook. His contributions to the industry will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

While Jeffrey achieved professional success, his true source of pride and joy was his family. His wife Kristi Evans stood by his side as the epitome of unwavering support and love throughout their journey together. Together they created a home filled with laughter, love, and acceptance.

He is survived by his wife, Kristi Evans of Jackson, TN; their children: Jeffrey Todd Evans II and his wife Breanna of Clarksville, TN; Jordan Taylor Kantasee and her husband Tommy of Murfreesboro, TN; Jeremy Tate Evans and his wife Hayle of Midlothian, TX; and Jonathan Tanner Evans of Ft. Worth, TX.  As a doting grandfather to Rosalie, Josephine, Leighton, Penelope, and Paxton, Jeffrey cherished every moment spent with them. His role as a grandfather gave him great joy as he imparted love and kindness in their hearts.  He is also survived by his parents, Charley and Wanda Evans of Weatherford, TX, two sisters, Christie Mills and husband Larry of Weatherford, TX and Debbie Evans and her partner Lisa Orfield of Weatherford, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey had a deep-rooted passion for the outdoors. Golf, hunting, and fishing were among his cherished hobbies. Nature provided him solace and a sense of tranquility.  Jeffrey played high school baseball and church league softball, showcasing his athletic abilities and competitive spirit.

SERVICES:  A Celebration of Life for Jeffrey will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Valwood Baptist Church located at 2727 Valwood Parkway, Farmer Branch, TX 75234.  Friends and loved ones are invited to join together to remember and celebrate his life. 

Jeffrey's legacy is one of love, compassion, and kindness. His warm smile and caring nature brightened the lives of everyone he encountered. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him.
