Jane Preslar entered her heavenly home on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the age of 89.
She was born in Henderson, TN, the daughter of the late Luther Mitchell and Della Norwood White. She was married to the late William Preslar, who preceded her in death in 2002. Jane attended Freed-Hardeman University and was a graduate of West Tennessee Business College, followed by a successful career in office administration with both WBBJ-TV and Thompson & Smith Insurance Agency. She loved the Lord and leaned daily on Psalms 23. She enjoyed needlework, gardening, reading and especially loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jane is survived by her three daughters, Kathy Harber (Steve Rushing) of Pinson, TN, Molly Wilson (Bobby) of Nashville, TN and Melinda Raymond of Nashville, TN; her brother, George White (Nancy) of Jackson, TN; five grandchildren, Katie Garcia (Victor), Rachel Birchmore (Clint), Hunter Wilson, (Sarah), Savannah Wright (Jonathan) and Taylor Wilson (Anna); and four great grandchildren, Noah Gonzalez, Sam Gonzalez, Eva Gonzalez, and Holly Anne Wright as well as, many nieces and nephews
Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy White and Max White and a sister, Anne Mosier.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM April 13, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and again on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 1:00 PM until the service.
Pallbearers serving will be Clint Birchmore, Victor Garcia, Hunter Wilson, Taylor Wilson, Jonathan Wright and Steven Gonzalez.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Gonzalez and Noah Gonzalez
