Homer T. Duncan, 86, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 in Knoxville, TN.
He was born September 15, 1928 in Greenfield, TN the son of the late Terry Luna and Delila McDaniel Duncan. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served on the U.S.S. Astoria. He was a member of the Gleason 330 Masonic Lodge for 50 plus years, Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church of Jackson, TN, as well as being an avid trader and collector. He was the owner of Duncan Office Equipment for 35 years. Homer and Hazel traveled extensively throughout the world. He loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years Hazel Stallcup Duncan, two sons Terry Dwight Duncan and wife Mary Ann, Jeffrey Gordon Duncan and wife Melinda, one daughter Deborah Duncan Andrews and husband Gary Don, seven grandchildren, Allison Marie Stallcup and husband Stephen, Benjamin Dwight Duncan and wife Lauren, Christopher Don Andrews, Justin Daniel Andrews, Margaret Clare Duncan, Jeffrey Drake Duncan, Mitchell Stanley Duncan, three great grandchildren, Henry Hall Stallcup, Benjamin Glynn Stallcup and Kinsley Grace Duncan.
SERVICES: Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Gaines officiating. A private family burial will be held in Ridgecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 26, 2014 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at Arrington Funeral Directors.
