Holly Beth Newman Johnson, age 57, of Jackson, TN, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at her residence. Born on February 14, 1967, she lived a life filled with vibrancy and love, touching the hearts of many along the way.
Holly was dedicated to her career, serving as the Nursery Coordinator for Northside Church and as the Program Administrator for the Little Lambs Parents’ Day Out Program. Her passion for early childhood education was evident, as she truly loved the children she worked with. Holly’s education from Middle Tennessee State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood education, laid the foundation for a rewarding career that brought joy to her and those around her.
In her personal life, Holly cherished her family deeply. She leaves behind her daughter, Lacey Johnson, as well as her beloved parents, Donald and Betty Newman. Holly is also survived by her siblings, Grant Newman and his wife Erin, Wendy Thomas and her husband Britt, and Clay Newman and his wife Kathy. She loved and adored her nephews Cade, Cooper, and Jack and her nieces Josie, Hannah, and Hope. Her family will forever remember her vibrant personality and the warmth she brought into their lives.
Holly had a variety of interests, finding pleasure in simple joys like reading, working puzzles, spending time at the beach, and playing with her beloved grandpup Karma. She and Lacey shared a love for the band Shinedown and attending their concerts. The memories of Holly’s laughter and love will be held close by her family and friends.
SERVICES: A Celebration of Holly's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Northside Church with Dr. David Comperry and Rev. Daphne Moses officiating. Burial will follow at Belleview Cemetery located in Bells, TN.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until 1:00 p.m. at Northside Church prior to the service.
Holly Beth Newman Johnson will be missed profoundly, but her legacy of love and dedication to family and community will endure in the hearts of all who knew her.
