Hershel Vernon Motley, 60, died on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Hershel was born on July 2, 1954, the son of Mary Clark Motley and the late Vernon Varnell Motley. He was retired as a truck driver and hardwood floor refinisher. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and being with his Jack Russell Terriers, Daisy and Buster.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Motley; his mother, Mary Motley; sisters, Sherry, Terry, Bonnie and Connie and his brother, Ricky.
SERVICE: A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with a visitation period from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
