Lea died peacefully on March 6, 2021 at her Morning Point residence in Springhill, TN.
She was born in Mt. Vernon, TX on January 21, 1929, the daughter of the late Joseph Tollie and Hattie Lea Mullins Kinard. She was married to Frank Riley Moore, who preceded her in death in 2010. Lea had a long career in banking, being employed by Regions Bank for twenty-seven years and First Tennessee Bank for seven years. She was also a hairdresser for several years. As a long-time member of First Christian Church of Jackson, Lea enjoyed her Sundays worshipping with fellow church members. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband and getting together with “the girls” to play UNO and other day trips.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Jansen and wife Denise of Santa Rosa Beach, FL and her daughter, Julie Jagneaux and husband Tim of Thompsons Station, TN; two stepdaughters, Fran Collins and husband Bob of Franklin, TN and Kathy Tabb of Cordova, TN; ten grandchildren, thirty-plus great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Highland Memorial Gardens, with Mike Long and Kirby Tabb officiating.
