Harold W. Burch, age 85, died on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
A native of Wilson, AR, he was born on April 6, 1933, the son of the late Chester and Eddie Avenue Burch. He was educated in the Wilson AR schools and attended Prudue University for one year. A Baptist in faith, Harold was self employed in sales. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed sports of all kinds, and in his younger years was a boxer. He enjoyed working with wood and completing building projects.
He is survived by his children, Harold Burch, Jr and wife Jennifer of Champaign, IL, Bryan Alan Burch and wife Pat of Beech Bluff, TN, Debbie Heinke Walde of South Bend, IN and Renee’ Bearden and husband Steven of El Dorado, AR; a sister, Ruby Burch Mitchell of Amory, MS; his ex-wife, Shelia Burch of Jackson, TN; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
SERVICE: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Cliff Walker, Sr. officiating.
The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers that donations be directed to the Jackson-Madison County Humane Society, 23 Pinnacle Drive, Jackson, TN 38305.
