Glen Kert Goode, a long-time resident of Jackson, TN, died at Jackson Madison County General Hospital on April 8, 2018 at the age of 56.
Glen was born in Dayton, OH on July 16, 1961 to John Kert Goode and Patricia Alice Johnson. He graduated from Bethel College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree and worked as a Corporate Buyer Planner for Teknor Apex in Brownsville, TN. On October 20, 1984, he married Keri, the love of his life. In September 1991 and May 1999, he welcomed his two beautiful daughters, who were a very important part of his life.
Glen was a devoted husband and father and an avid tennis player. He was a spiritual man and an active member of Love and Truth Church. He was involved in many church activities and enjoyed singing on the praise team. He enjoyed playing the guitar, piano, bass and cello. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Glen is survived by his wife of 33 years, Keri Goode; daughters, Brittney (Tracey) Woods and Kimberly Goode; mother, Alice Johnson; step-mother, Marilynn Goode; brothers, Mark (Marie) Goode, Jay (Judy) Goode; two step brothers, John (Sally) Hughes, Artie (Moana) Hughes; sister Sarah (Michael) Heidler, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father John Kert Goode.
Funeral Services will be held Friday April 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Love and Truth Church (North Jackson campus) with Pastor Steven Moore officiating. The family will be receiving friends on Friday from 12:30PM until service time at 2:00PM at the church. A private family burial will follow.
