Bro. Jerry EggenbergerFuneral services for Bro. Jerry Eggenberger, 68, will be held Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 3:00PM at East Union Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jerry died Thursday morning May 29, 2010 at his residence.He was born July 9, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA, the son of the late Keith Eggenberger and Betty Ree Eggenberger. He graduated from South Side High School in Memphis, TN, attended Clear Creek Baptist College, Pineville, KY, Cumberland College, Williamsburg, KY, and Trinity College & Seminary. He was ordained to the pastoral ministry by Second Baptist Church, Union City, TN on September 26, 1971. During his ministry he has served churches in TN, GA and KY. He was the current Pastor of First Baptist Church, Crump, TN. Bro. Jerry is survived by his wife, Betty Eggenberger of Jackson, TN, two sons, David Lee Eggenberger (Stacey) of Dolthan, AL, John Russell Eggenberger (Kyra) of Jackson, TN, one daughter, Amy Bentley (Jason) of Nashville, TN, one sister Joanne Eaton, two half brothers, Joel Eggenberger, Kevin Eggenberger, and seven grandchildren.Those serving as pallbearers will be Phillip Moore, Jerry Rickman, Brian Kemp, Mitch German, Gene Case, and Archie Owens.The family will be receiving friends Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 3:00PM until 6:00PM at Arrington Funeral Directors and on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM at East Union Baptist Church.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
