Duward Hanna

Duward Hanna left his earthly home on Monday, June 12, 2023, at the Christian Care Center of Medina, TN, under the loving care of Gentiva Hospice, at the age of 94.
He was born on September 24, 1928, the son of the late William Edgar and Lydia Amie Adams Hanna. Duward was a longtime member of Southside Baptist Church in South Jackson, TN. He retired from Terminix in Termite Control after more than thirty-six years of service.
The outdoors is where Duward was most comfortable, whether it was working in his gardening, hunting squirrels, fishing, or cleaning out a thicket.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A graveside service for Duward will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Lebanon Cemetery in Sardis, TN, with Rev. Jimmy Horton officiating from Southside Baptist Church.
Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Arrington Funeral Directors, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and continuing until 7:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial contributions be directed to Southside Baptist Church, 2724 Highway 45 South, Jackson, TN 38301.
The family would like to thank Christian Care Center and Gentiva Hospice for the loving care that was provided to Mr. Hanna.
