Dorothy Amison Mullins

Mrs. Dorothy Amison Mullins, age 92, of Jackson, TN, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Northbrook Healthcare Center. She was born on May 5, 1930, in Jackson, TN to the late William Alvin Amison and Clara Roach Amison.
Dorothy had a long work career that began in Jackson at Tigrett Toy Factory and ended at Weber Costello in the mid-eighties. She was a long-time member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved to collect antiques, glassware, and collectibles. Grandmother “D” was happiest with her son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Terry Wayne Mullins (Lissa) of Jackson, TN; three grandchildren, Angela Grunkemeyer (Jason) of Bluffton, SC, Brian Mullins (Susan) of Greenville, SC and Emily Jackson (Traylor) of Jackson, AL; four great- grandsons, Joshua and Nathan Grunkemeyer of Bluffton, SC, and Connor and Bryson Mullins of Greenville, SC, and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Grunkemeyer of Bluffton, SC.
Dorothy was married to Clyde Eldridge Mullins for 67 years. Other than her parents and her husband, Clyde, in 2015, she was preceded death by her sister, Bernice Mayhall and her brother, William Amison.
SERVICE: The funeral service for Dorothy Mullins will be Saturday, March 25th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Bro. John Hatley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time at 11:00 a.m.
